San Diego, CA — U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge and Dimensional Art Exposition

(Broadway Pier and Pavilion, 1000 North Harbor Drive) on Labor Day Weekend: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, September 1-4, from 9am to 5pm on Friday and Monday, and 9am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.

A truly unique and spectacular event with amazing sand sculpture. And lots of great crafts and pleanty of food.

The 1-day admission is generally $15 for adults, $10 for Kids 2-12, and $12 for Seniors 62+. But see their website for details and about some discounts.

 

 

Past Shows

Irwindale, CA — 55th Annual Renaissance Pleasure Faire.

(Santa Fe Dam). Open from 10 am to 7 pm weekends from April 8 through May 21. This annual event is much more than a crafts show. It’s great entertainment for the entire family. Admission is $29.95, children (5 to 12) $15. Parking is $10.

Menlo Park, CA — Summerfest.

The festival will be held on July 15-16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Santa Cruz Avenue from El Camino Real to Johnson Street in Menlo Park.

An exciting weekend featuring two days of stellar live music, world-class art by 250 of America’s top artists, fabulous food and drink, artisan specialty food purveyors, home and garden exhibits, health and wellness displays, an organic and green products showcase, and tons of fun for kids.

Carlsbad, CA — 19th Annual Art in the Village

(Village of Carlsbad, 2 blocks from the beach) on Sunday, August 13, from 9 to 5. A nice, pleasant show with 125 venders and just two blocks from the beach.  (I'll be in booth #944.)

Held the second Sunday in August, Art in the Village highlights fine art, sculpture, photography, ceramics and handmade jewelry, furniture, clothing and wood crafts. Live onstage soft jazz music helps to cultivate a leisurely atmosphere of the arts. Come join us for a great place and time to find the finest quality arts and crafts anywhere.
